Windermere's Peaches Windermere King Cong X Windermere's Mallory Foaled 4/11/04 Windermere's Peaches is a mare we purchased from Windermere Farms.  She is a 3/4 sister to our good  filly, Windermere's Destinee.  Peaches mother, Windermere's Mallory, is a great show mare herself. She is a half sister to such champions as Windermere's King Arthur, Windermere's Blackout, Windermere's Goliath, Windermere's Xena, as well as the great breeding horse, Dreamtime's Silverado.   Peaches' entire pedigree is made up of household names like Blackhome Duke, Camille, Windermere King Cong, Marissa Laet, Monette Laet, etc.  Peaches is a big mare and possesses the heart and drive of the great hitch horses she descends from.   She is extremely upheaded and moves with excellent motion, using her hind leg beautifully in addition to her tremendous front end action.  She is very clean in the hocks and has good flat bone with excellent feet.  We took her to the Maryland Fair this summer and she was named Jr. and Grand Champion mare.  We feel very fortunate to have a mare of this quality standing in our barn.  We will be breeding her to Briar Hill Trademark, our new two year old stallion, for a 2009 foal.
