Windward Farms was initially started as a Belgian operation but switched over to Percherons in the late 80's with the purchase of these two Maverick daughters.  Steffani 260891 and Noelle 260890.

Windward's Barnabas, By Chief's Commander, out of a maternal half sister to Rex, Northridge Acres Bell (by Buckeye Frederick).  Barny was a good driving horse and our other herd sire for a few years.

Windward's Torin, by Blackhome Duke, out of Patrick's Princess, as he looked in his prime.  He was born on our farm and went to Ohio to stand for service for a good number of years, siring some outstanding offspring.

Northridge Acres La Rex, By Chief's Commander, out of Silver Dapple Dandy, was our first herd sire.

Today our herd consists of a few broodmares and some good young stock.  We always have something that is for sale so feel free to give us a call or stop by and see the scenery.
